fabric cutting machine

Fabric Cutting Machine Sourcing is an independent sourcing partner for US plant buyers who need a fabric cutting machine matched to a named fabric construction, compressed lay height and marker. Share production lay class, quantity and destination so we can request comparable factory wholesale quotes. We do not run a cutting room, hold inventory or sell under a maker appointment.

Documents before quotation

  • Drawing or process description

Provide a marker file identity or process sketch that names knife family, cutting window, vacuum film and whether the table must accept a spreading conveyor. Average perimetric speed in m/min is not a substitute for a named nested job.

  • Operating conditions

State fabric construction, stretch, surface friction, compressed lay height for the intended fabric, production lay class (low or high ply), three-phase supply, footprint and who unloads labeled bundles after the cut.

If compressed lay height or marker CAM format is still unknown, mark those fields open. Do not invent a ply count from a catalog window height. Read the lay and pattern note before treating a brochure speed as the purchase figure.

Documents before quotation

A fabric cutting machine brief is comparable only when the buyer writes the fabric that must be held by vacuum, the compressed height of that lay, and the marker used to judge corners and notches. Missing those items leaves factories quoting different tables under the same title.

  • Drawing or process description

Attach or describe the representative marker: piece count, notch density and whether matching stripes or checks constrain nesting. If a spreading line already exists, name its discharge height so quoted conveyors are not guessed.

  • Operating conditions

Record connected load, compressed air demand, vacuum blower duty cycle, work envelope of the cutting window and whether cooling water appears on any quoted chiller. Throughput must state loading and offloading, not only knife travel.

Open items stay open. Public cutter literature can illustrate questions; it does not transfer another company’s products or appointments to this service. Continue with marker data and offloading when CAM licenses are still unnamed.

Choose a quotation route for the intended lay

Defined specification

Use this route when fabric, compressed lay height, marker identity, electrical supply and destination are already written. Factories can then price the same window, vacuum and handling split instead of substituting a different ply class.

Selection still open

Use this route when CNC, automatic conveyor or computerized CAM tables are still being compared. We keep those families on one sheet only when each reply states which marker software and consumables are included.

Questions that change how factories quote

Which procurement scope is covered by fabric cutting machine?

Defined specification

Scope is a dedicated cutter table and the handling that must travel with it: vacuum, knife tooling, and any quoted conveyor. Spreading, bundling tables and sewing are out of this landing page unless the buyer names them as separately quoted interfaces.

Send requirements

Selection still open

If you still need to decide CNC knife versus automatic conveyor versus computerized CAM, keep the family list visible and ask each factory to quote the same marker and ply class. Do not collapse those options into one unlabeled “cutter” line.

What compressed lay height is feasible for the intended fabric?

Feasible compressed height is a supplier confirmation for the named fabric, vacuum and knife, not a catalog window height. Ask how top-to-bottom layer accuracy will be inspected on the same marker. Brochure perimetric speed does not answer that question. FAT and SAT remain with the named factory in any later contract.
